Elisa Donovan reflected on her iconic '90s style at the Sabrina the Teenage Witch 30th anniversary reunion in Chicago

Donovan said she would bring back Amber’s feathery jacket and leather pants from Clueless, calling them timeless

The Sabrina reunion included Melissa Joan Hart, Nate Richert, Caroline Rhea and more cast members

Elisa Donovan knows her characters had iconic style, but isn't necessarily dying to remake any of her old looks.

The 55-year-oldactress recently caught up with PEOPLE at the 30th anniversary celebration of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, and when reflecting on the outfits and style trends seen in the TV show, Donovan admits she hopes they “stay in the '90s.”

However, if there were an outfit from one of her characters that had to come back, she says it would be something Amber wore in Clueless.

“I love that feathery, big jacket. I think it was with leather pants. I loved that," Donovan shares. "I think that's still pretty fabulous and timeless."

Last year, Clueless costume designer Mona May shared that she drew inspiration from the runway when creating the film's outfits because high school style at the time was "grim" and teens dressed in "awful, baggy clothes."

“We were like, this is so depressing," May shared during a Q&A for the film's 30th anniversary screening at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. "This is not the reality we want to create."

"It was always coming back to the script. [Director] Amy [Heckerling] wanted the girls to be very happy, very feminine. So, it was interesting marrying this kind of high fashion and bringing it down into the high school level,” May added.

Donovan starred as Amber in the 1995 teen comedy, Cher Horowitz's eclectic frenemy and fashion rival. Years later, she joined the cast of Sabrina the Teenage Witch in 2000 as Morgan Cavanaugh, one of Sabrina’s college roommates.

The cast of Sabrina the Teenage Witch reunited on June 13 in Chicago, bringing together Donovan, Melissa Joan Hart, Nate Richert, Beth Broderick, Caroline Rhea, Soleil Moon Frye, Michelle Beaudoin, Jenna Leigh Green and David Lascher.

Reflecting on the 30th anniversary of the show, Donovan tells PEOPLE, “It’s unfathomable.”

“It's super special because so many of us don't get to see each other very often. I'm in touch with Melissa and I see Jenna sometimes and I see David sometimes, but everybody else it's pretty magical,” Donovan shares.
