Gwyneth Paltrow and Apple Martin are soaking up the summer.
In an Instagram carousel posted on Saturday, May 15, the actress, 53, shared a sweet snap of herself and her lookalike daughter, 22, lounging in coordinating swimsuits.
Paltrow sported a plunging black ensemble and matching sunglasses with her blonde hair pulled back, while Apple opted for a red-and-white striped bikini top with her tresses let down in loose waves. Both mother and daughter appeared to go makeup-free.
“Summer, so far so good,” the Oscar winner captioned the post, which also included photos of her lounging poolside as well as a black-and-white snap of her appearing topless.
In July, Apple looked like the spitting image of her mom while shooting on the set of her first film, Nancy Meyers’ new movie Paris Paramount. The budding actress could be seen wearing an orange sweater and light blue jeans, posing with her hands behind her back and her blonde hair tied into a ponytail.
In addition to Apple, Paltrow and her ex-husband Chris Martin, 49, are also parents to son Moses, 20.
Apple told Vogue in February that while she previously wanted to attend law school after graduating from Vanderbilt University, she instead wants to pursue acting.

“I was in that rebellious ‘I don’t wanna be like my parents’ type of phase,” she said of wanting to attend law school.

“I don’t wanna be a singer,” explained Apple, who noted she also likes to sing like her dad. “I like musical theater, but getting onstage by yourself to sing is so terrifying.”
“I love dancing, and I love acting,” she continued. “My dream is to act.”
In 2023, Paltrow told PEOPLE that motherhood inspired her to put her acting career on pause.
“Well, it’s kind of ironic because I really stepped away from acting when Apple was born,” Paltrow said of how motherhood has enhanced her career. “The last time I was in every scene of a movie was when I was pregnant with her.”
“When I had her, it just, everything felt redefined for me, and I thought, ‘I’m not sure that I want to do this so much as a career. I definitely don’t want to...I’m not going to go away for months on end.’”
