Fans said they weren't sure they heard Brady right in comments on social media, including one user who said, "Heard this live and we were SO CONFUSED"
Tom Brady had fans questioning their hearing when he called out Josh Allen's backside during the Bills-Eagles game on Sunday, Dec. 28.
Late in the game, the retired NFL star, 48, made a reference to Allen's "big booty" while explaining Buffalo's best strategy to score.
"Hard to imagine it's anything other than the push play," Brady told viewers before suggesting Buffalo attempt to let their "big, 250-lb. big booty quarterback try to sneak his way in there."
Fans quickly took to social media to make sure they heard Brady right.
"Did Tom Brady just call Josh Allen a "big booty quarterback"??????," one user wrote. "I’m laughing as I look this up on X," replied another.
"Still not over Tom Brady's "Big Booty QB" statement," said an X user.
Fox Sports reposted the clip to TikTok, where fans agreed they were surprised by the comment. "Heard this live and we were SO CONFUSED," one comment said. "Fr, the whole fam just looking around like 'we all heard that right?' 😭🤣," replied another.
"I laughed and I was asked my husband if he heard that?! Then I really started looking at Allen’s big booty 😂😂," another comment said.
The Bills narrowly lost Sunday's matchup against the Eagles, after Allen missed an open receiver in the end zone for a two-point conversion that would have won the game.

After the loss, Allen took responsibility for Buffalo coming up short. “It just comes down to us executing, making one more play than they did," he said. "And obviously you saw that we didn’t make that last play — I didn’t make that last play.”
The loss also took away Buffalo's chance for the top seed in the AFC East, secured by the Patriots. Allen told reporters it "sucks not giving ourselves a chance" for the top seed. But he added, "We're still in the playoffs, and that's the main thing.”
