Kylie Jenner‘s boyfriend, A-lister Timothee Chalamet, might be enjoying his time with the Kylie Cosmetics founder, but he has no plans of partaking in her life as a reality star. A source has recently told RadarOnline.com that despite all the PDA when they are together in public, the “Little Women” star is adamant on keeping his distance from Jenner’s family.

Timothee Chalamet is ‘terrified of getting swallowed up by the Kardashian curse,’ per source

Timothee Chalamet and Kylie Jenner have been dating for a few years and have made numerous public appearances. Earlier this year, Chalamet even gave his girlfriend a shoutout in his Critics’ Choice Awards acceptance speech. However, he allegedly refuses to appear with her in The Kardashians, the reality show that follows the Kardashian-Jenner family.

A source told RadarOnline.com, “Doing reality TV is a hard no for him. He thinks he’s above it.” Chalamet has allegedly clearly told Jenner that her sisters and mother need to stop interfering in their personal matters. Another insider said, “Timmy’s terrified of getting swallowed up by the Kardashian curse. Everyone has seen what happens to men who get too close to that family. If Kylie wants to be with him, it’s going to be on his terms, and that means very little involvement with her family.”

The beauty mogul’s family has reportedly warned her that Chalamet is just using her for publicity. Another source said, “He wheels her out when there’s a movie to promote, but most of the time she has to grovel and beg just for a date – and even then, he insists on seeing her in private.”

Meanwhile, the first insider also weighed in. They stated, “He’s more than happy to use this relationship for publicity when it suits him.” Allegedly, the photo ops in matching outfits and thanking Jenner in his acceptance speech were “all very strategic choices.” He is reportedly also taking advice from Kris Jenner on his Oscar campaign, but refuses to engage more with the family.
