Sara Haines is sharing that it's harder than she thought it would be to find time to be intimate with her husband — especially with their three kids at home.
During a recent episode of The View, the actress, 48, spoke with her fellow co-hosts about how hard it can be to find time to be intimate with their partners. Haines, who shares her three kids with husband Max Shifrin, admitted that it's particularly hard for her to find space in their own home.
“Well, wherever vacation is. Because Max and I have small kids,” Haines says when asked where the best place she's had sex is.
“No children around,” Joy Behar quickly jumps in.

“Oh hell no. Your mama hat goes on real fast, and that’s the least sexy thing I wear,” says Haines.
“You know, they always say if you wanna have sex with your husband and you have kids, you should close the door and shut them out,” says Behar.
“No, but they bang on the door,” says Haines. “They bang on the door.”
One of the other co-hosts suggests that Haines have her kids play video games while she tries to find time, but Haines says she's tried everything.

“We tried everything! We don’t have a lot of screen time, so we will literally give them sugar and video games, put them in a corner, and they need us immediately," she explains. "You can’t even get there mentally. You’re like, ‘Ahh!’ It’s annoying. It’s a turnoff. It’s like your parents calling when you settle in for a night."
This isn't the first time Haines has opened up about something getting in the way of her sex life. During a September 2024 episode of The View, she recalled a time when an unexpected third party chimed in while she and her husband were spending some quality time together in bed.
This isn't the first time Haines has opened up about something getting in the way of her sex life. In September 2024, she recalled a time when an unexpected third party chimed in while she and her husband were spending some quality time together in bed during another episode of The View.
Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin admitted that unknowingly broadcasting her bedroom activities was her "biggest fear" and she needs to "take the phone off the bed and put it upside down" anytime she has sex with her husband, Justin Griffin.
"I’m afraid of live-streaming or like, my mom calls and hears it," she confessed. "Never have the phone in the bed. It can be in the bedroom but away from the bed. Nightstand down and locked is the official place."
"But sometimes it’s not your phone," Haines replied, before coyly referring to a time she and her husband were having sex. "One time Max and I were… cuddling. And Alexa answered and was like, ‘I’m sorry, I don’t understand the question’ from the next room."
When Behar asked which question triggered Alexa's response, Haines replied, "I wasn’t saying anything! Why did she answer me!?"
"It must have been like, ‘Are you enjoying this or not?' " Behar joked.
