Burberry just dropped its newest campaign touting its iconic trench coat

Stars like Kendall Jenner, Teyana Taylor and Jonathan Bailey are part of the campaign

The new photo shoot and documentary-style video celebrate the house's 170th birthday

Burberry brought in some of your fave stars for its latest campaign, modeling the iconic trench coat.

For the Trench, Portraits of an Icon campaign, everyone from supermodel Kendall Jenner to musician Little Simz and PEOPLE's Sexiest Man Alive Jonathan Bailey put on the signature Burberry trench coat in a stunning collection of black-and-white portraits lensed by Tim Walker.

The campaign is in celebration of the fashion house's 170th birthday, and it shows off the piece most synonymous with the British brand.

Burberry’s chief creative officer, Daniel Lee, said of the campaign in a press release: "To celebrate the Burberry trench, an icon of British style and fashion, we invited friends from across the creative world to bring it to life. ... Think of it as a tribute to Burberry — a symbol of British style and craftsmanship — and a thank you to the skilled individuals behind every coat."

The campaign sees each of its models wearing the trench coat in their own way (including while playing in the "rain") — whether it's buttoned all the way up with the belt fastened or worn in a more leisurely way. Some of the models even have a matching Burberry umbrella with the beloved House Check print.

Burberry's iconic trench began with founder Thomas Burberry's creation of gabardine in 1879 — the material that would eventually be used to make the signature piece a few years later. The Heritage Collection of trenches has five silhouettes, including signature styles, the Kensington, Waterloo and Chelsea, as well as the Camden car coat and the new Mayfair trench.

But that's not all! Outside the Heritage Collection, there are even more silhouettes with new, modern takes on the classic, including the Fitzrovia trench and the Ellingham car coat, which have wider sleeves and a fuller skirt.

The pieces are made at the same Castleford location where they've been manufactured for the last 50 years. The fabrics are all woven at the Burberry Mill in Keighley, Yorkshire.

This new campaign also stars Agyness Deyn, Alva Claire, Bright, Daisy Edgar-Jones, Eberechi Eze, Erin O’Connor, Hikaru Utada, Iris Lasnet, J.Y. Park, Jack Draper, Karen Elson, Kate Moss, Kid Cudi, Kristin Scott Thomas, Little Simz, Matthew Macfadyen, Reece Clarke, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Sora Choi and Wu Lei.

The models additionally star in a documentary-style video — also in black and white — touting the house and its well-known trench coats. The piece is set to "Sing" by Blur. The campaign will also bring new window displays and pop-ups around the world to share the joy and history of the house.

"The Burberry trench coat stands as one of the most iconic signifiers of our brand, and this campaign tells its timeless story — a story rooted in the craftsmanship, innovation and authenticity that have defined us for 170 years," shared Joshua Schulman, chief executive officer in a press release. "It celebrates Burberry’s enduring global resonance through a design deeply woven into British style and culture, inspiring people across generations to express their individuality while remaining unmistakably Burberry."
