Zach Galifianakis shared that he once worked as a busboy at a strip club.
The Hangover alum is "not proud" of the job.
Galifianakis is the host of Netflix's This Is a Gardening Show.
The Campaign star Zach Galifianakis is revealing that his pre-fame work included a different kind of pole.
Galifianakis might have broken out in The Hangover franchise, but that doesn't mean he enjoys taking part in wild nights of debauchery. The 56-year-old actor can currently be seen in a Netflix gardening show, which is far cry from one of his old gigs.
"I was a busboy at a strip joint till I was 28," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "Stringfellows in New York. Not proud of it."

Galifianakis was a late bloomer, not making his TV debut until he was in his late 20s, and he was 39 when The Hangover launched him into movie stardom. Despite his success, the North Carolina native always kept his distance from Los Angeles and the traditional celebrity formula. He currently lives in British Columbia, where he hosts This Is a Gardening Show.

"The lifestyle of Hollywood never fit with me," he said. "So I work in it, but then I separate it. For me, it’s more healthy that way. Maybe it would be if I’d been successful when I was younger."
In addition to the recently released Gardening Show, Galifianakis stars on AMC's tech drama The Audacity.
"I was so excited when he signed on," Audacity star Sarah Goldberg previously told EW of Galifianakis. "Sometimes you're in a scene with someone and you're fighting to make something feel real. And when you look into Zach's eyes, you're like, 'Oh, we're here.'"
